Mooretown definitely stormed into the first
period scoring at the 9 second mark to set the tone for the night. The hometown Express were able to hold off
the visitors allowing only one more goal in the 1st period.
Arts had a stellar shot but it rang off the crossbar.
There were several power play chances in the 2nd period for Ingersoll. Kudos for continuing to play hard out there. Mooretown scored 3 minutes in and ultimately they were up by 4 goals at this point.
Ingersoll’s Chevrier (Warnock) got the team pumped up 3 minutes in to the 3rd with a great goal which would be the only one on this particular night. Great effort by all players to stay out of the box, recording only 2 penalties.
