Paris Tournament
The Anderson Appliance team played 4 great games in the Paris tournament this weekend.
In Game 1 we faced a tough Delhi team and were able to squeeze out a 1-1 tie. B. Williams scored our only unassisted goal. E. Spence was very strong in goal.
In an exciting Game 2 against Tillsonburg the team was able to forge a late comeback and tie it up at 3-3 with 33 seconds on the clock. Scoring started with P. Huitema from B. Wright, N. White from W. Parsons, and P. Huitema unassisted.
In game 3 we met a tough St. George team and lost 2-1. Anderson goal was scored by C. MacPherson assisted by W. Parsons. E. Spence had another excellent game.
In the semi final game against a strong Paris Team, we were able to keep it close at 2-2 until late in the 3rd period where Paris scored a pair of late goals. B. Williams scored our first goal and E. Barret scored our second goal.
