Anderson Appliances Updates
It may be late in the season, but there is still hockey to be played!
After losing to Tillsonburg in their match March 2nd, the two Ingersoll teams met to determine who would move on to the league final. It was a fantastic game, requiring a second overtime period to decide the game, with Butterworth's coming out on top. What a game to watch!
Next up was a tournament in Simcoe. The team made it into the semi-finals on Sunday. They won the game 6-2 against Dundas. The finals saw Anderson Appliances put forth their best effort, but lose in an uneven match against Mooretown.
The team is now busy in a tournament in Tillsonburg. Up first, Lambeth. Lambeth scored the first two goals. Near the end of the first, C. Macpherson scored from B. Williams and N. White. Shortly in the second, N. White tied it up from W. Parsons and C. Thomas. Lambeth answered back with the last goal of the game in the second. Final 3-2 for Lambeth.
The next game saw a strong showing against Langton, with Anderson Appliances winning 7-0. Scoring was B. Williams twice, P. Huitema twice, W. Parsons twice, and C. Macpherson. Congratulations to E. Spence on the shutout!
