A Heartbreaking Loss
With the last meeting between Ingersoll and Simcoe ending in a tie, Ingersoll was hoping to win on Simcoe's home ice.
With less than a minute into the game, Ingersoll let Simcoe tip one into their net.
Kaleb Kloepfer, unassisted, tied the game before the first period ended.
Half way through the second, Nicholas Yoworski lifted a rebound from a Rylan Warford shot, over Simcoe's goalie. This made it a 2-1 game for Ingersoll. Before the second period ended, Simcoe tied the game.
Simcoe got the go ahead goal, part way through the third. With less than 2 minutes left in the game, Ingersoll pulled their goalie and added another player hoping to tie the game. Unfortunately they were unable to score and the game ended with a win for Simcoe.
