A Breakdown in the last Minute of the Game!
Ingersoll gave up a goal in last minute of the game to end the game in a tie.
After capturing a win the first time Ingersoll and Tavistock met, Ingersoll was hoping to repeat it.
The first period and second period showed no scoring.
Early into the third period Cohen Alexander was able to slip one by Tavistock's goalie with help from Rhylan Warford and Jack Wolfe.
Tavistock kept coming on strong, but Ingersoll's goalie hung tough.
With 8 minutes left in the third, Tavistock took a tripping penalty. Ingersoll had several chances on the power play but were unable to capitalize on them. With the clock ticking down, Ingersoll was hoping to add another 2 points to the standings, but with 39 seconds left Tavistock tied the game.
It wasn't the ending Ingersoll was hoping for but they will take the one point.
