IPC Securities 2013/14 Season
Welcome to the beginning of a fun filled and exciting season...
The first game of the 2013/14 season started of with a bit of a shock. Aylmer came flying out of the gates and had our kids a bit shell shocked the first period had first time netminder Derek Ratelle riddle with shots. Derek had some fantastic saves but the Aylmer offensive was a little over powering scoring 7 goals over the period. The kids came out in the second like a new team Coach Bill gave the boys some words of encouragement they were back on the ice and working hard to keep the aggressive Aylmer team out of their end. Mid way through the period Westin Matsumoto broke the goose egg with a net crashing goal to break the shut out. Again Aylmer had a great deal of time in our end of the ice but Derek Ratelle had found his stride in goal and made save after save, only allowing 2 goals in the second.
IPC had a bit if a eye opener but caught on fast this should be a exciting season for our kids and us parents sitting in the stands.
