Great weekend of hockey for Ingersoll Atom Tirecraft LL team.
It was a weekend of hockey for the Ingersoll Tirecraft Atom LL team! Port Dover on Friday night, and on home ice Sunday morning. With a practice in between!
It was a tough game for the Tirecraft team in Port Dover. But the team held their heads high and kept going. The first goal was scored by Caleb C, unassisted. His fist pump down the ice, said it all! Port Dover put on the pressure the whole game, but in the third period, they had enough. Eddie B scored, assisted by Mitchell Hand Charlie K. And with 36 seconds left on the clock Charlie K scored, assisted by Katie F. It seems to me, we just ran out of time! Final score, 8-3 for Port Dover. Goal tender of the game was Noah C, good job!
Sunday morning found us on home ice. With the familiar sights and smells, the team got off to a good start by ending the first period tied 1-1. The first goal was scored by Matt D, assisted by Tanner G. In the second period Tanner G scored, assisted by Matthew DX and Zach L. They almost had the win, but Norwich slide one in at the end of the third period to end the game with a tie 2-2. Logan B did a great job in net!
