It was 2 games, in 2 days for 2 ties this weekend for the
Ingersoll Tirecraft Atom Team.
Our first game of the weekend was in Waterford and Caleb C got us off on the right start with the first goal of the game not even a minute into the game, assisted by Matthew DX. Waterford answered it with a goal of their own 5 minutes later. Waterford got another one a minute into the second period and Ingersoll answered it with one themselves, scored by Charlie K. Final score of the game 2-2.
Our second game found us on home ice against Port Dover. And what an exciting game it was. The team had the crowd on the edge of their seats the whole time! With a final score of 4-4, the team was working hard to keep the puck from being in our end, and by all efforts they did. The play was mainly in Port Dover’s end. It looked like Ingersoll was going to win right up until the last 3 seconds when Port Dover got the last one in to make it a tie. All 4 of the goals were scored by Matthew DB. Congrats on the Hat Trick Matthew!
