Canadian Tire Atoms Find Missing Offence
Your Canadian Tire Atom LL hockey team found their missing offence Sunday Feb .3 when the team hosted Tillsonburg at the Memorial Center.  Ingersoll skated to a 5-1 victory with contributions from every player.

Owen Longlade opened the scoring banging in a rebound from a Cam Dench blast two minutes into the game.  Two minutes later, Marisa Freeman fired a wrist shot from the blue line that found the back of the net.  Lucas White earned an assist on the goal.  With the score 2-1 late in the second period, Ethan Vlemmix scored on a break assisted by Conner Kuhlman and Mike Mersereau.  Shelby Todd banged in a rebound midway through the final period assisted by Kennedy Costa and Devon Dell.  Marisa Freeman collected her second goal of the game a minute later with another wrist shot from the blue line assisted by Will Jones and Colin Van Dyk.

Megan Longlade earned the win in net for Canadian Tire making several saves including two breakaways.  The team battled hard the entire game knowing that the win was needed to get into a playoff position.  The team will Travel to Tillsonburg for a rematch on Friday looking for two more important points.

On Jan. 27th, the team travelled to Delhi.  The team played a great game with many chances , but would lose 1-0.  There were several highlights to this game including a penalty shot awarded to Cam Dench after he was hauled down on a break.  Ethan Vlemmix made a diving save as the puck was about to cross the line. 

On Jan. 25th, the team travelled to Langton to play the top place team.  This afternoon contest was back and forth the entire game.  Megan Longlade and the Langton goalie were both rewarded with shutouts when the final buzzer sounded.  Final score 0-0.
