Ingersoll Canadian Tire Atom-LL Defeats Waterford
Canadian Tire Ingersoll – Atom LL Edges Past Waterford 4-3 Your Canadian Tire Ingersoll - Atom LL Hockey Team travelled to Waterford Arena on November 17th to play the Waterford Wildcats.

 The teams played scoreless in the opening period but the period was not without action as Waterford came out fast and diligent defensive plays by Ingersoll’s Marisa Freeman, Lucas White, Colin VanDyk and Ethan Vlemmix prevented any good scoring chances by keeping the Waterford team to the outside.

 Canadian Tire Ingersoll-Atom LL had their own chances in the period as Will Jones, Cam Dench and Owen Longlade all had breakaway’s that where stopped by the Waterford goalie.

In the second period Ingersoll’s Ethan Vlemmix opened the scoring as he took control of the puck from his own end and froze the Waterford goalie with a beautiful deke as he put it under his pads.

 Moments later Ingersoll Canadian Tire took an unfortunate tripping penalty and on the subsequent power play Waterford scored and tied the game with a two on one breakaway.

 Canadian Tire Ingersoll took the lead again after a fine individual effort by Cam Dench he took the puck down the left wing and broke in alone then placed a high perfect shot to put Ingersoll in the lead.

Owen Longlade had several chances at his own rebounds before finally putting it behind the Waterford goalie to put Ingersoll up by two.

 Waterford came back again with two goals of their own to tie the score late in the third period and it looked like the game was going to end in a tie.

Ingersoll’s Ethan Vlemmix had other plans as he lead a fast rush up ice and blasted a hard shot at the Waterford goalie, the rebound came right to Ingersoll’s Devon Dell who did not hesitate to slam the puck under the sprawling Waterford goalie to earn Ingersoll the win.
