IPC Securities - Tyke LL, 2012-2013 (Ingersoll & District Minor Hockey)

The score didn't end with a 'W' but those IPC Tyke players are all winners in our eyes!! What a great TEAM effort against the sharp skills of the St.Thomas Stars, we definately out skated them on our home ice. Thanks again to Logan Bromley for another solid night in the net!!  

Even thou the Toronto Marlies lost on March 9th the IPC team had fun! The kids played like champs on the big ice at the Ricoh Coliseum! The final score was Toronto Marlies 2 & Abbotsford Heat 4, but it was a win for both the Ingersoll teams! Thanks for the opportunity coaches, lots of smiles by all that day.

Another close one…but it didn’t start out that way!  Nice come back by the Ingersoll IPC tyke team on Saturday against the Belmont team.  The final score was 6-5 for the Belmont team, but the Ingersoll Express persistently chipped away at the early Belmont lead until the final buzzer. Nicolas Yowarski had a hat trick, with a trio of goals. Ewan Spence & Tyler Watts each got a single.  Great job by the seasoned goalie Logan Bromley, he faced many shots and kept the score close! Way to go team!

Well the final score certainly didn't reflect the effort on the ice. The Ingersoll IPC players just couldn't find the back of the net enough times but we gave the effective Belmont goalie a busy game!! Our own goaltender Colton MacPherson made some big saves and did his best but he was no match for Belmont's 'super shooters'. In the end it was Belmont 6, IPC 2. Goals were scored by Nicolas Yoworski and Tyler Watts.  Nice plays, nice passing and solid defense IPC team...a great game to watch. Next games are Friday February 8th at 7:00 pm vs Embro in the Ingersoll's Carmeuse Lime Tournament ...

Way to hang in there IPC tyke team...we have a win! Great game had by all. The final score was IPC 2 and Belmont 1. Single goals were scored by Nicolas Yorworski and Colten MacPherson. Another great game in net from Garret Folkema! It came down to a close one at the end, but the players stayed in it together...great job team!
