Glenda Ponsonby Ingersoll Oxford Realty Pee Wee Reps were visited by Hagersville on Thursday Feb. 9th for their first game of Southern Counties B Division Playoffs.
Ingersoll came on strong with Nathan Gould scoring an unassisted goal 7:16 in the first period. Gould’s goal was the solo on the scoreboard for the majority of the game while both goaltenders denied any shots to cross the goal line for the whole second period, thus, increasing the pressure of a 1-0 game going into the third. Hagersville fought hard to tie the game up but in the end it was Ingersoll who took the only goal of the third period, when Aaron Lonsberry scored an “empty-netter” on a pass from Sam Tasker with only 49.6 seconds left in the game.
Pee Wee Reps are back on home ice Thursday Feb. 16th vs. Langton.
