Pee Wee Reps Take Back to Back Wins
After coming off a 3-2 win in Waterford on Monday Oct. 17th, Ingersoll Express Pee Wee Rep's continued their fast paced momentum earning a 2-1 win over Caledonia. Thus, giving Glenda Ponsonby Ingersoll Oxford Realty Pee Wee Reps back to back wins in the same week.
This game proved to be a struggle for puck possession with both teams taking turns up and down the ice throughout the whole three periods, however, it was visiting team, Caledonia, who scored first with their sole goal of the game going in only 20.9 seconds left in the first.
Ingersoll's solid defence and excellent goal tending gave their forwards the opportunity to balance the score board at the end of the second period with a great pass out front by Tanner Moon; allowing Aaron Lonsberry to deflect the shot into the net.
The score remained tied until almost 3 min. into the third when Asst. Captain Brayden Shapton battled the puck in front of Caledonia's net and scored the game winner; assisted by Sam Tasker and Jacob Branderhorst.
All team members had solid performances making this a true "team" win.
Ingersoll's Pee Wee Reps are back on home ice Thurs. Oct. 27th at 8:10 p.m. when Burford comes for a visit.
