McNiven Insurance's Ingersoll Rep Team Starts Playoffs
Submitted By ghamm on Sunday, January 22, 2012
McNiven Insurance's Ingersoll rep team "The Ingersoll Express" squares off against Aylmer in the first round of playoffs.

The Express drove to Aylmer for the first game of the series and suffered a 6-4 loss after a hard battle.  Aylmer took a 2-0 lead early the first until Alex Foster went end to end up the wing to cut in and score unassisted to make it 2-1.  Less than a minute later on the same line, Clayton Hammond assisted Keegan Clark who put one in the cage to tie it up 2 all.
Aylmer would score the only goal in the second period to end it 3-2.  Going into the third period at 13:39 on the clock, they got two more by the Express to make it 5-2.  Then, after digging down deep looking to the training, the praying and the vitamins, hold it, that was Hulk Hogan, wrong article.  Back to the Express, the machine Nolan Adkins fed Parker "wheels" Hodgson to make it 5-3.  Then, with 4:34 left in the third, Justin Holmes went unassisted to bring the Express within 1, 5-4.  With momentum building, things were looking promising until our friend the clock wound down and forced the Express to pull Logan White out of the net.  Aylmer put one in the empty cage with 38.6 seconds left winning the first game 6-4.  Next game at home in Ingersoll.
