McNiven Insurance's Atom Rep Express Shuts Out Delhi
On January 12th, McNiven's Express hosted Delhi and held them for the win.
With the Express goalie ill, Riley Ellis(forward) took the bull by the horns and stepped into the pads.
The first period was scoreless with great back and forth action. The second and third periods were all Express with Clayton Hammond feeding Keegan Clark, who fired the first goal in.
On a power play in the third, defenseman, Maxx Shelton carried the puck up and set Clayton Hammond up for the 2nd goal, 2-0 Express. To finish Delhi off, Justin Holmes ran end to end to score unassisted leaving it 3-0 Express.
Great job to our defense, Ethan Emerson, Dayton Racicot, Maxx Shelton, Matt Berzins & Riley Ellis who played one of their best of the year. Next stop, playoffs, starting with Aylmer
