Thursday night in Ingersoll the Ingersoll Express Searles Motor Products Novice Rep team hosted the Glanbrook Rangers in their OMHA playoff game. Nine seconds into the game it was Alex Schuett who banged in a goal to get the homeside on the scoreboard. In the second period captain Josh Clark snapped a wrist shot top corner to give the homeside a 2-0 advantage. Emmitt Robinson found the back of the net on a redirect goal just before the second period came to finish to give Ingersoll a bit of breathing room. The third period Gavin Bryant and Charlie Kish were able to extend the gap and secure the 5-0 victory for the Express. Once again an amazing effort both ways by the Express players and goalie Gabe Robinson who earned the shutout allows the team to sit at 4-2 in their OMHA playoff round robin series. Ingersoll travels to Port Colbourne on Sunday afternoon, puck drop is 4:15pm.
