Express End Five Game Skid in Langton

Wednesday night the Ingersoll Express Searles Motor Products ended their five game losing streak with a strong 3-0 victory over the Langton Leafs.
Captain Josh Clark set the tone with a early goal when he was able to create some space for himself in front of the net to give the Express the 1-0 lead.  The Express were able to capitalize on the powerplay when Davin Gray (assisted by Josh Clark) scored. The final goal came from a nice playing play starting with Cohen Belore digging the puck along the boards and freed it up to Gray who then passed it out to a streaking Gavin Bryant who was able to get enough wood on it to  bank it in while falling to the ice. The Express defensive game provided a great team effort limiting Langton's top offensive player to a few scoring opportunities, but the backbone behind the Express defense was goalie Gabe Robinson who picked up the shutout.
With the victory the Express move to 2-1 in Southern Counties Playoff action, and will travel Thursday night to Glanbrook to take on the Rangers for a 6:00pm game.
