Express Winning Streaks Ends
The Ingersoll Express Searles Motor Products Novice Rep team were handed a 7-1 loss by the Port Colbourne Sailors Sunday morning in Ingersoll. With the loss it gives the Express a 3-2 record in the OMHA playoffs. Ingersoll held the Port Colbourne team off the scoreboard for the majority of the first period but Port Colbourne managed to put one past Express goalie Gabe Robinson late in the first frame, and continued strong in the second period with four more goals. Ingersoll managed to get on the scoreboard when Davin Gray drove hard to the net and missed on the opportunity but with Charlie Kish and Ben White in front of the net trying to push one past the Sailor goalie, it was White who manged to get one over the line to give the home side their lone goal.
Thursday Ingersoll returns back to their home ice on Thursday night against the Glanbrook Rangers. Puck drop is at 6:00pm.
