Dairy Queen - Tyke LL, 2010-2011 (Ingersoll & District Minor Hockey)

With only 5 games left of our season, we find ourselves in the town of Belmont on this the 19th of March. After the team cheer in the dressingroom, you could hear the boys as they left the changeroom cheering themselves onto the ice.  What a positive way to start the game!  The game got of to a quick start with most of the play in Belmont's end for the first half of the game.  Ben W scored our first three goals of the game, the first one assisted by Dylan D.  Which put us ahead of Belmont for most of the game.

It's amazing to think that our boys have now been playing together for 7 months.  You can see it not only in the change room, but on the ice as well.  They know where to look for eachother and where to pass the puck to.  This really is a great tribute to our coaching team.  They have really brought the team together.  With only a few games left to our season, it is sad to see it coming to an end.  But exciting to see the boys play so well!

It was within the first minute that you just knew this was going to be a good game!  Ben W got the scoring off to a great start finding the side pocket.  It was a fairly evenly matched game with lots of up and down play between our Ingersoll Grey's and Belmont.  Ben B dropped one in with a little help from his friend, Ben W. It was a quick return to the Belmont net with Ben W dropping in another one, assisted by Kaleb K.

As per usual our DQ's guys got the game off to a quick start.  Ben B was eager to get us on the board, with a quick back handed flip, the puck went in.  Assisted by Caleb C, and Jesse Jones.

The game got off to a fast start with Ben W scoring our first 3 goals - Hat Trick!  The players found themselves in the opposing end for most of the game which resulted in another 3 goals for Ben B - Hat Trick #2!  Ethan M was also able to sink one too.  Assists go to Ethan M, Braeden W, and Ben W.
