A Nailbitter of a Game Right Till the End
As our goalie this week, Braden W gets some last minutes pointers from the sidelines the rest of the boys warm up as they get ready to face off against Dorechester on home ice this morning. Our boys started crowding around Dorechester's net putting on some pressure, Bryson G was the one who got us on the board!
Braden W sure could count on his team mates this morning as they were all willing to hop in the net to help out. It sure did pay off as they eventually got the puck away from the Ingersoll end and back where it belongs - in the Dorechester net! Caleb C picked up the puck, travelled all the way down the ice, took a shot, but missed, however Alex S picked up the rebound and got it in - great teamwork boys!
With 10 minutes left on the clock, Dorechester ties it up putting some pressure on the boys to pick up their game. Ben W proved that the DQ's are a team to be reckond with as be brings us up by 1, assisted by his brother Lucas W.
Then again, with 3 minutes left on the clock, Dorechester comes in to tie it up. With a last minute rescue, Alex S, sinks another one, assisted by Ben B.
Final score 3-4 for Ingersoll DQ's! What a great game boys!
