Cami team#2 black hosts Waterford#2
Peewee LL Cami#2 black and Waterford#2 in a showdown.
On Nov. 30 Waterford#2 came to town looking for a win against Cami#2 black. In the first period Waterford came out hitting and skating but Cami#2 was up for the challenge holding Waterford to only one goal despite many good scoring chances by both teams. Cami#2 black ended the first period down 1-0. The second period featured an offensive charge by the Cami#2 team, but they were unable to get the puck past Waterford's goalie and finished the second period down 2-0. Starting the third period the Cami team knew they had to hold Waterford scoreless and try to find a way to get a goal and thats exactly what they did, putting together an incredible team effort and were rewarded with three unanswered goals taking a hard fought victory by the score of 3-2. Scoring for the Cami#2 black team was Josh Holmes assisted by Matt Burns and Robert Brown, Josh Holmes assisted by Matt Burns and Lucas Bader, and the third goal from Julian Gillespie-Wilson assisted by Duncan Chevrier and Zach Catry.
