Cami black loses three.
The Cami black team travelled to Port Dover on Jan.23. After playing a strong first period Cami black scored with just two seconds left in the first period. Scoring for Cami was Lucas Bader assisted by Robert Brown. Port Dover scored four times in the second period to take a 4-1 lead into the third period. In the third period Cami shut down the Port Dover offense, but despite many good scoring chances they were not able to get back in this one, losing 4-1.
Jan.29 saw the Cami team travelled to Tillsonburg. After playing a scoreless first period Cami scored in the second period and took a 1-0 lead into the third period. Scoring for the Cami black team was Dylan Currie assisted by Jonathan Andrews. In the third period Tillsonburg came out hard and scored two unanswered goals taking a 2-1 lead, but Cami didn't give up and played hard the rest of the period, pulling their goalie late in the period in hopes of getting the equalizer but unfortunately Tillsonburg scored an empty net goal winning this one 3-1.
On Jan.25 Cami black hosted Langton in a rematch of a game in Langton in which Cami black beat Langton, the only loss Langton sufferd all year. Cami scored twice in the first period on goals by Matt Burns assisted by Justin Borland and a goal by Duncan Chevrier assisted by Jonathan Andrews and Lucas Bader. Despite scoring twice the Cami team finished the first period down 3-2. Langton scored twice in the second period taking a 5-2 lead into the third period. Cami scored two more goals in the third period from Duncan Chevrier assisted by Julian Gillespie-Wilson and a goal by Matt Burns assisted by Josh Holmes and Brendan Costello but Langton was too strong in this one winning the game 9-4.
