Cami black at Langton
On Jan. 09 the Cami black peewee LL team travelled to Langton to play the undefeated Langton team.
Jan. 09 saw Langton host the Cami black team. Langton was the only undefeated team this year scoring an average of almost ten goals per game. This one would be a tough battle for the Cami team. Langton scored early in the first period but Cami fought back and tied the game late in the first period on a goal by Julian Gillespie-Wilson assisted by Duncan Chevrier. In the second period both teams played a hard two way game with good scoring chances at both ends and both teams scored one goal each to finish the period tied 2-2. Scoring for the Cami black team was Jilian Gillespie-Wilson assisted by Duncan Chevrier and Max Chevrier. In the third period the Cami black team put the pressure on Langton by playing a great positional game and were rewarded with quick goals from Julian Gillespie-Wilson to complete the hat trick assists went to Duncan Chevrier and Zack Catry and the second goal scored by Dylan Currie assisted by Matt Burns and Jonathan Andrews. Langton scored late in the period to get within one goal, but when Justin Borland scored into the empty net assisted by Lucas Bader and Josh Holmes Cami black sealed the deal and handed Langton their first loss of the year in what was Cami black's best game so far this year.
