Cami PeeWee LL (black) report
The Cami peewee LL black team picks up two more wins.
On friday Nov. 13 the Cami black team travelled to Port Dover for a 7:00p.m. game. After a fast,tight checking first period the Cami team finished the first period with a 1-0 lead on a goal by Brendan Costello assisted by Matt Burns. In the second period the Cami black team struck for three more goals scored by Matt Burns assisted by Dylan Currie, Dylan Currie assisted by Jonathan Andrews and the third goal by Matt Burns assisted by Zach Catry and Dylan Currie. In the third period the Cami black team put this one away with three more goals taking a 7-2 win. Scoring for Cami came from Lucas Bader from Dylan Currie, Matt Burns assisted by Julian Gillespie-Wilson and Lucas Bader and Max Chevrier from Matt Burns.
On monday Nov.16 the Cami black team hosted Norwich. This game featured some great offensive plays, strong defense and good goaltending at both ends. After a fast paced first period the teams finished the period tied at one. Scoring for Cami black was Julian Gillespie-Wilson assisted by Matt Burns and Robert Brown. In the second period, despite many scoring chances, ended scoreless setting up a great third period. Cami black took the lead halfway through the third period on a goal by Matt Burns assisted by Justin Borland, but this game wasn't over yet. Late in the third period the black team had to deal with a two man shortage and try to hold the lead. The team played incredible defense in killing off these penalties and then with less than a minute remaining the Cami black team scored a goal from Jonathan Andrews assisted by Matt Burns and came away with a 3-1 victory.
