Dairy Queen Tykes fall to Port Stanley
On Saturday, February 13th, the Ingersoll Dairy Queen Tyke team hosted Port Stanley once again. The game started out well, with the kids building a 3-1 lead against the visitors. However, with a shortened bench, the Dairy Queen Tykes were unable to hold on to the lead, and succumbed to the scoring of the Port Stanley kids. The final score of the game was 7-5. Scorers for Dairy Queen were Keegan Purdy, Ryan Bruschetto and Ethan Laporte with one goal and one assist each, Brennan Rupert with two goals and two assists, and Aidan Berto with one assist. The Dairy Queen Tykes next play at home on Friday, February 19th, at 6:00 pm.
