Ingersoll Vanbeeks vs Tillsonburg
Submitted By Henry Catry on Monday, February 16, 2009
On Sat Feb 14 , the Ingersoll Express Vanbeeks travelled to Tillsonburg after a well played game the night before against Norwich . The Express found themselves down two goals after two minutes of play and seemed to dig their heels in taking the play to Tillsonburg but their goalie was up to the task by making good saves to keep the Express shut out .

In the second Tillsonburg scored two more as the Express found goal posts twice and one goal from Gage Langille scoring from a rebound of Warren McSwiggan after Cody Morrison won his battle in the corner from a Tillsonburg defenseman . While the third period was half over Tillsonburg scored again but the Express’s effort never died the score clock said different but a determined bunch didn’t quit and finally Robert Brown buried a half ice rush from a good clearing pass from Zach Catry and Eric Thorne , leaving the final Tillsonburg 5 and the Express Vanbeeks 2. Coaches from both teams said the score didn’t justify the game as 2 goal posts and at least 3 goal saving saves kept Ingersoll from travelling back  # 19 with a tie or victory .The Vanbeeks  play in the Carmuese Lime Invitational on Sunday @ 8:00 am and take on Six Nation’s @ 5:00 pm  for a League game.
