Jan 31 Ingersoll Express Vanbeeks vs Norwich
The Ingersoll Express Vanbeeks travelled to Norwich to take on the Nighthawks . Norwich opened the scoring early as action was end to end , the first period ended with Norwich holding a one goal lead .
In the second period Julian Gillespie- Wilson responded from a centering pass from Tristan Berto on an up ice feed from Zach Catry. Norwich responded with another goal leaving the Express down 2 -1 after two periods . In the third period action really picked up as half way through Robert Brown bulged the twine from a corner feed from Gage Langille , Norwich flexed their muscles and added two quick goals leaving the Red Express down two with two and a half minutes remaining the boys seemed determined they wanted this game to complete their weekend on a good note notching their third was Ben Anderson slamming home a rebound from a shot from Gillespie – Wilson . With 45 seconds left with goalie Josh Adams heading to the bench and a scramble in front of the Norwich net Brown found the back of the net with Cody Morrison and Langille assisting on the tying goal . The Red express pulled this one out with good hard work as the work ethic is starting to show up every game now . Way to go guys .
