INGERSOLL EXPRESS ATOM REP VS. TAVISTOCK TITANS
Time to dust off the hockey gear and
sharpen the skates! It’s the first game back after a very long shut down and The
Ingersoll Express are eager to get back on home ice to play The Tavistock
Titans.
The Express have a strong first period. There are two great attempts by Rydan but are denied by the Titan’s goalie. It is a pretty even match as both Ingersoll and Tavistock push to score a goal. Peter makes a fantastic save but the Titans manage to get one past and opens the scoring. The period ends and it is 1-0 for Tavistock.
Nine minutes into the second period, Tavistock scores on a breakaway. Soon after Ingersoll gets a penalty for too many men on the ice and Tavistock cashes in on the penalty right away making to score 3-0 for the Titans. They score their fourth and final goal of the night moments later. Ingersoll is not giving up! With lots of pressure from the Express, Lawson shoots a missile from the blue line putting Ingersoll on the board. The period ends and The Express are not ready to give up their fight for a win.
Peter makes two massive saves soon into the third period. Ingersoll is looking strong, fighting hard with lots of shots on net and many changes to score. Their endurance pays off as Josh scores on a rebound that is assisted by Kaelan. Unfortunately, the game ends and Tavistock takes home the win with the final score of 4-2. The Ingersoll Express fought so hard this game and pushed to the very end. Way to go Express!
