January 26th saw the Ingersoll Atom Anderson Appliance team take on Simcoe. At 8:02 of the first period Ingersoll's #9 Kyle Verhoeven opened the scoring unassisted. That would serve as the only goal in the opening frame giving Ingersoll a 1-0 lead going into the second. Less than a minute into the second period Simcoe scored to tie the game. It wasn't until 1:31 of the second Ingersoll's #6 Ethan Clarke scored with assists going to #17 Carson Walters and #9 Kyle Verhoeven. Giving Ingersoll a 2-1 lead going into the third.
Motivated going into the third to bring it home at 7:48 of the third #16 Aaden Workman buried a pass from #9 Kyle Verhoeven to give Ingersoll a 3-1 lead. Less than a minute later #16 Aaden Workman scored his second of the game off a feed from #19 Blake Rozon at 7:06 of the third. Not letting up the pressure at 4:03 of thenthird Ingersoll's #9 Kyle Verhoeven nets his second of the game with the assist going to #5 Graeme Fleming to bring the final score to 5-1 Ingersoll.
