January 29th saw the Anderson Appliance atom team travel to Simcoe for a game. It didn't take long before Ingersoll was on the board 8:30 of the first and #9 Kyle Verhoeven scored unassisted. 1-0. At 3:12 of the first period #5 Graeme Fleming scored with assists going to #19 Blake Rozon and #11 Trevor Hutchison, 2-0 Ingersoll. Not letting up at 2:53 of the first #9 Kyle Verhoeven scored his second of the game with the assist going to #6 Ethan Clarke. With .38 seconds left in the first #16 Aaden Workman got on the board unassisted giving Ingersoll a 4-0 lead. Going into the second Ingersoll showed no signs of slowing.
It was #16 Aaden Workman who at 6:07 of the second buried his second goal of the game unassisted. Ingersoll kept the pressure on and at 3:35 of the second #11 Trevor Hutchison scored unassisted. At 3:18 of the second #17 Carson Walters scored with assists going to #16 Aaden Workman and #19 Blake Rozon. The second period ended with Ingersoll up 7-0. The third period brought much of the same at 8:59 #9 Kyle Verhoeven completed the hat trick with assists going to #5 Graeme Fleming and #11 Trevor Hutchison. At 2:26 of the third #9 Kyle Verhoeven lit the lamp again assisted by #19 Blake Rozon and #7 Tanner Strom. Bringing the final score to 9-0 Ingersoll. Big shout out to Ingersoll's #1 Justin Clarke for scoring the shut out.
