Shooters Sports Photography Tie One On In Burford
Burford was visited by Shooters Sports Photography November 7th, where the Burford Midgets rolled out a carpet of some icy, nondescript, colour for the Ingersoll Midgets to skate in on.
Although the game was a strong performance for both teams, Burford opened scoring in the first period. Shooters Sports Photography would respond with a goal of their own, but not until the second period.
With 10:07 on the clock, Justin Koch received the puck from Braeden McNeil, and put it to bed in the Burford goal, bringing the game to a tie in period two. Burford would also score, however, to take the go-ahead goal.
Into the third the third period, Burford had the lead with a score of two points against Ingersoll’s one. Early on, however, Ingersoll’s Justin Burns received assistance from Aaron Lonsberry, to put a tie score on the board once more. Burford didn’t seem to like this revolting development and they once again took a go-ahead goal. Shooters Sports Photography would not go quietly into the night, and with 7:55 on the clock, the Burns, Lonsberry duo worked their magic once more to put a tie score back on the board. The remainder of the game would see Ingersoll’s goalie, Bailey Parizeau, show off his skills by stopping all other shots as the time-clock proceeded to oblivion. The final score was a tie with three goals for both Burford and Ingersoll.
