Louie's Bantam Rep in Caledonia for SC Playoffs
The Ingersoll Express Bantam Rep team travelled to Caledonia Thursday night to take on the Thunder in Southern Counties playoffs.
Ingersoll goalie Logan White held off the Thunder the entire 1rst period with Ingersoll getting the only point that was put on the board by Maxx Shelton assisted by Symon Hutcheson and Nathan Graham.
Early in the 2nd Caledonia tied it 1-1 at 13:25 then moved ahead to a 2-1 lead at 11:01. The Express battled back and after a scrum in front of the net, Shelton got his 2nd of the game assisted by Parker Hodgson and Dayton Racicot to make it 2-2. At 3:10 the Express moved ahead when Justin Holmes grabbed the puck and drove down scoring unassisted, then with 30 seconds left Caledonia made it 3-3.
The 3rd period proved to be interesting and the Express moved ahead early when Parker Hodgson buried one assisted by Alex Foster, then at 11:05 Hodgson got his 2nd of the game assisted by Nolan Costa and Dayton Racicot. This would be the last point put up from the Express with Caledonia getting 6 goals in the 3rd to make the final score 9-5 Caledonia.
