Louie's Bantam Rep Moves Up on Paris
The Ingersoll Express Bantam Rep team was in Paris Wednesday night for game three in the second round of OMHA playoffs. With the series tied 1-1 a win on the road would be just what the Express needed with game four going to be held in Ingersoll.
The Express came out of the gate rockin and rollin nailing the first goal of the game after Parker Hodgson broke loose with the puck early in the 1rst at 13:53 scoring unassisted. The score stayed 1-0 until Matt Berzins let a point shot go that Hodgson tipped in with a minute and a half left in the 1rst.
The 2nd period would have no points put on the board and the Zamboni would come out to give the teams a ten minute break before the 3rd. The Wolfpack came out in the 3rd hard wanting to get on the board. At 7:01 Clayton Hammond won the draw assisting Tanner Gray who buried it from the point making it 3-0 Express. Despite a great night in net Paris snuck two past goalie Carson Rachar late in the 3rd to end the game 3-2 Express. Come down to the Madhouse on Mutual to watch game four at eight bells a win would put Paris out and put Ingersoll in the 3rd round.
