Louie's Bantam Rep Douse Flames
After a big win at home against Waterford on Saturday the Express headed to Aylmer to take on the Flames.
Let this reporter start by saying this was a rough one but as they say "when in Rome ...". The 1rst period took a bit of time for the Express to settle in on the big ice with Aylmer scoring the only goal ending the period 1-0. The 2nd period saw the momentum shift Ingersoll's way when Clayton Hammond drove in scoring unassisted to tie it 1-1. Two minutes later the Express moved ahead when Alex Foster hammered in a one timer that came from Hammond. The Flames answered back at 4:36 to make it 2-2, but at 2:47 Foster got his 2nd scoring on his backhand assisted by Hammond and Daniel Martineau. This would end the 2nd period with the Express up 3-2 on the Flames. The 3rd period was how do you say interesting with things heating up. Goalie Logan White and the rest of the Express battled to keep their one goal lead until at the 2 minute mark Tanner Gray said " I'm in the business of doin business" and went end to end scoring to finish the game 4-2.
