Louie's Bantams Grab Two Wins And A Tie
The Ingersoll Express Bantam Rep team sponsored by Louie's Pizza have been busy lately playing both on the road and at home.

On December 2nd the Express headed to St. George to take on the high ranking Generals.  There was lots of action in the 1rst period but no score until at 2:41 Symon Hutcheson put one in blocker side assisted by Clayton Hammond.  The Generals answered right back at 2:11 making it 1 all,  but Hammond would move the Express ahead again assisted by Tanner Gray.  The match went into the 2nd period and the Generals answered back again ending the period 2-2.  The third period  had St. George moving ahead 3-2 scoring 11 seconds into the period.  Ingersoll took their turn to tie up the score when Parker Hodgson undressed the goalie assisted by Gray and Daniel Martineau.  At 2:25 during a scrum in front of the net, Hodgson got his 2nd of the game assisted by Nathan Graham and Liam Knox.  The defense Tanner Gray, Matthew Berzins, Nathan Graham, Ian Fraser and Keegan Purdy combined with goalie Carson Rachar did a amazing job of holding off the Generals for the rest of the game to send the Express home with a big win.
On Saturday Dec 5th the Express had another big game hosting the Twin Center Stars.  Carson Rachar would man the posts again doing a stellar job.  Both teams wanted a win and that was apparent with the speed and the level of intensity of the game.  The Stars got the only goal of the 1rst period bringing the Express out under the gun in the 2nd.  As the game got rougher Ingersoll put their horses to work until Hammond buried a rebound from Alex Foster assisted by Hutcheson.  The game would end 1-1.
The next night Ingersoll hosted the Norwich Knight Hawks.  This one was all Express with a 4-0 K O with goalie Logan White getting a shutout.  No goal was scored in the 1rst period but early in the 2nd at 14:47 Hodgson pocketed the 1rst point assisted Maxx Shelton and Ian Fraser, goal number 2 came right after at 11:14 when Shelton sniped one upstairs assisted by Hammond and Foster.  Ingersoll continued to control the game and rolled through into the 3rd period when Justin Holmes got his first of 2 goals putting in a rebound assisted by  Fraser and  Knox the putting one top shelf on the backhand, assisted by  Knox and  Fraser. That would end it with Ingersoll having a great week. Go Express!
