Heart breaking loss
Butterworth's tyke select played in their first tournament of the season in Strathroy. In their first game, it was back and forth intense action with both goalies making outstanding saves. Strathroy opened the scoring, but R. Gregg tied it up shortly after with the assist going to M. Baker. Strathroy would score two going up 3-1, but with the net empty K. Winkworth would score with the assist going to S. House making it 3-2. Butterworth's would keep the pressure on with a breakaway with less than a minute in the game. Unfortunately they were unable to tie the game. Final score was 3-2.
