Butterworth's once again met up with Southpoint, this time in the championship game. Southpoint once again got off to a fast start and Butterworth's couldn't climb out of the deep hole. The final score was 7-2. S. House had both goals for Butterworth's with assists going to B. Randall and K. Winkworth. Although the kids may not have had too many smiles over losing the championship they were all smiles holding the "Stanley Cup" after. The kids played great and should be proud of themselves. I know all the families of the players are. Great job Butterworth's!!!!

In the "B" semi final Butterworth's played against Amherstberg. Butterworth's controlled the game from the drop of the puck. K. Winkworth had numerous chances to score but couldn't cash in, in what was his best game of the tournament. B. Randall scored 2 and had an assist in leading Butterworth's to a 3-0 win. U. Jewkes had the other goal. The other assist went to S. House. The dynamic duo of N. Crane and S. Krajewski pitched the shut out. Off to the "B" championship!
