Hanging on in Simcoe
On Friday night, Butterworth's Service Centre Novice LL travelled to Simcoe for some intertown action.
The action didn't get started until the second period when Emmitt R. took a pass from Cameron F. and scored. Simcoe responded a few minutes later. With one minute left in the period, Emmitt scored again, assisted by Graham C. and Jacob M. Simcoe was the first to score in the third period, tying up the game. Play continued for a few more minutes until Keagan C. got a goal with less than 5 minutes remaining. Assists for this goal went to Bryson G. and Colleen M. Butterworth's was able to hang on and prevent Simcoe from scoring any further goals. Final score was 3-2 for Ingersoll.
