Glenda Ponsonby Peewee Reps get the job done !
After a loss earlier in the year and the a recent tie down by the lake the Ingersoll Express hosted Port Dover to get a win Thurs Dec 13.
The Peewees started the game off playing with Nolan Adkins blocking the puck at Dovers blue line and taking it in and burying it top shelf. Port Dover would come back scoring with 2:35 left making it one all.There would be no scoring in the second period from either team keeping the fans from both centers cheering on their heroes.
The third period would see Dover get their second and final goal of the night as the rest of the game would be all Express. Noah Robinson played outstanding in net stopping thier big number 18 and anything else they through at him with help from our great defence helping to keep them at bay.
With the score 2-1 with 4:30 left in the third Anthony Ziraldo would get a five hole goal after Ethan Stevens fed Justin Holmes for the assists making it 2-2. Keegan Clark had one of the best passes of the game putting it out front but the Express couldn,t quite get a purchase on it still 2-2, we'll sell you the whole seat but you will only need the edge! With 4:19 left in the third Clayton Hammond would set up Nolan Adkins who put the puck up where the Keebler Elves only dream of reaching taking the lead.Still rolling on the Express would see Alex Foster move the puck up to Nolan Adkins who gave it to Justin Holmes who made a great goal look easy ending the game 4-2 Express.Thats 3 goals in in 58 seconds folks thats how shes done.
