Anderson Appliance Novice LL Team Has an Amazing Weekend
To say they are playing like a team seems like an understatement. These kids have got it together!
The weekend got off to a great start with a practice on Friday night. And picked up again on Saturday morning with us in Langton against the Leafs! The game got off to a rockey start with the Leafs scoring 2 goals, Bryson Green finally answered them back with one of his own, assisted by Matthew Dykxhorn. The second period was what won it for us, Lucas Turner got one between the posts, assisted by Eddie Ball, Cameron Dench sunk another one, and Bryson Green got his second goal of the game. The third period found us up by 2, but we weren’t done yet! Tanner George got a goal, along with Matthew Dykxhorn. Kudos to our amazing goalie Logan Brunzlow. Final score 3-6 for Ingersoll! Our second game of the weekend found us on home ice against Port Dover on Sunday morning. The team was out to prove themselves one more time! Boy was it a nailbiter! Matthew Dykxhorn got the goal scoring off to a start with an amazing flick of his stick! The best part was the fist pump down the middle of the ice! Tanner George scored our second and final, and winning goal of the game, assisted by Marisa Freeman. The teams were evenly matched, with lots of shots on net taken by both teams. Good goaltending by Logan Brunzlow.
