A Winning Weekend For Anderson Appliance Novice LL
It was a weekend of wins for the Anderson Appliance Novice LL.

Our weekend started off with a Saturday morning game in Langton, against the Langton Leafs! Logan Brunslow had an amazing game, only letting 1 get by him. Marissa Freeman scored our 2 goals, unassisted. For the first one, Marissa took the puck from the blue line, skated in and scored. For the second goal, Marissa got the puck from centre ice, and skated in with it again, and from her previous experience, she knew where to put it in! With the last few games resulting in either a loss or a tie, the team needed a win, and we did it! The hooting and hollering from the change room told me that they were very pleased with themselves! Our second game for the weekend found us on home ice against the Burford Bulldogs. As the team started their pre-game warm up, the slapping of the sticks told us they were ready to get things moving. And so they did! The team was totally pumped from their winning game the day before, and it was showing on the ice! They were definitly playing like a team, passing the puck, playing their positions. It looked like they had really stepped up their game! Marissa Freeman got us on the board with the first goal of the game, assisted by Tanner George and Kennedy Costa. Then a few minutes later, Joel Gardham swooped in there with another one! Assisted by Eddie Ball and Cameron Dench. The first period hadn’t even ended, and Eddie Ball got in there with one more goal for Ingersoll, assisted by Joel Gardham, and Avelea Emerson. The Bulldogs managed to get one by us in the second period, but it was quickly answered by another goal from Eddie Ball, assisted by Joel Gardham. Our goalie Logan Brunslow is becoming like a wall out there – not letting anything by! Way to go team!
