Verspeeten Cartage vs Simcoe - Jan. 16/2011
This was a successful game for Verspeeten Cartage. In the opening minutes Tanner Moon from Tyler Goyette put the Ingersoll boys on the board by netting the puck, setting the pace for the game. In the 2nd period, both teams battled back and forth testing their skills. There was no change in the score even through a powerplay for each team. The third period saw more of the same including two powerplays for Simcoe in which Verspeeten Cartage held them at bay. Ingersoll also had a powerplay but couldn't get it by the Simcoe goalie. In the final minutes Tanner Moon scored the final goal of the game. In the remaining seconds after, Ingersoll had a powerplay but couldn't change the score.
Final score 2 - 0 Ingersoll. A shutout for goalie, Brady Harris!
