On Monday January 12th the Ingersoll Express Dairy Queen Novice Local League hosted the Novice team from Six Nations.  This was the first meeting for these two teams and so Ingersoll had to rely on the home ice advantage to keep them on their winning streak.

The first goal of the game was scored early in the first period by Samuel Cull on a breakaway.

It was still anyone's game as the second period began.  Early in the period Christian Clifford put one in the net off of Zach Ackert and Joshua Dariano.  As the game progressed the same trio were again at the net.  This goal was Dariano's,  off of Ackert and Clifford.  Late in the second Derek Neeb slid one in the net assisted by Cullen Brown.

The third period began with a considerable lead for the Dairy Queen team.  With confidence. the terrific trio partnered up the ice to score yet again.  Dariano put it in off of Clifford and Ackert.  As the play continued Net Minder Connor Young-Craig remained diligent as he defended his scoreless net.  In the last minutes of the game Samuel Cull was again on his own as he scored his second goal of the game.  The puck was barely dropped again when Anthony Ziraldo took it up the ice to score the final goal of the game.
