Dairy Queen/Anderson's Appliances Novice Local League Not On Their Game
The Anderson Appliance Ingersoll Express Novice Local League team travelled to Langton on the morning of Saturday January 24th to face the Langton Novice team.  The two teams played some good solid hockey and by the end of the first period net minder Connor Young-Craig had been successful in averting all shots on net.

It was not until midway through the second period that Langton put one in the net.  The second period ended with Langton up two goals and Ingersoll unable to secure one in their opponents net.  In the third period Langton was able to score twice while the Dairy Queen team despite their best efforts was not able to get the shots on net.
Final score was 4 to 0 for Langton.

On Monday January 26th the Anderson Appliance Ingersoll Express Novice Local League hosted the novice team from Delhi.  Ingersoll was hoping for the home ice advantage as they were meeting up with a formidable opponent.  Delhi scored early in the first period and then again within seconds of the first goal.
Ingersoll was determined to even things up and worked hard to keep the play of the game in their opponents end.  With all of their hard work, Anderson's could not get the shots that they needed to catch up with Delhi. Goalie, Justin Burns, did a superb job defending the the net.  In the last seconds of the game Delhi got another one in to finish off the game 3 to 0 in their favour.
