Organization - QR Screening and Vaccination Policy Update
Submitted By Jamie Belore on Friday, October 15, 2021
All families must use the Town of Ingersoll QR Code for contact tracing purposes before entering the building.

The Town of Ingersoll will have an employee on site checking vaccination status prior to entering the arena, please have patience with this process as it does take a bit of extra time,  if you could have your vaccine QR code and ID ready that will definately speed up the proccess.

Starting Sunday October 31st 2021 everyone 12 and over will need supply proof of vaccination before entering the facility

Also see below for the OMHA update.

We wanted to provide you the latest update with respect to the OMHA Vaccination Policy for COVID-19 and there decision after the Board of Directors meeting this weekend.

The OMHA Board of Directors discussion around the Government of Ontario’s Proof of Vaccination requirement and exemption relating to youth under 18 years of age actively participating in indoor organized sport as it applies to training, practices, games and competitions. The Ontario government considers its regulations to be a baseline and allows organizations and businesses to supplement with further measures to ensure the health and safety of participants.

OMHA Vaccination Policy will remain in place without any changes.
IDMHA will adhere to both the Provincial Government announcement regarding the vaccination requirements put in place effective Sept 22. Everyone over the age of 12 (including 12) entering the arena facility in the Town of Ingersoll as a spectator will need to be fully vaccinated including the 14 day post vaccination window after you receive your second dose. For all players 12 to 18 and team volunteers you will have until Oct 31st to be fully vaccinated as per the OMHA policy.  Please see information link    https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/r21645

If you still require vaccination, appointments are not required at SWOH vaccination clinics. Here is a link where you can find a list of pop-up vaccination clinics: https://www.swpublichealth.ca/en/my-health/covid-19-vaccine-eligibility.aspx .

Please be aware of our refund policy:

1. There will be a full refund up until Sept 24th at midnight for any refund requests related to the new proof of vaccination policy.

2. Refund requests related to the vaccination policy that are submitted on Sept 24th or later will follow the regular IDMHA refund policy. That refund policy can be found here: https://ingersollminorhockey.ca/

Again, if you have any issues or concerns with the vaccination policy, they should be directed to OMHA at this time.

Please see all proof of vaccinations to Jo-Ann. [email protected]
