Express vs Coyotes (Team 1)
PLL1 (sponsored by Vision Property management) hit the road yesterday afternoon.

Check out what number 5 (Parker Cook) has accomplished.

The families of the Pewee LL1 team (sponsored by Vision Property Management) travelled to Burford on yesterdays cold and wet afternoon to take on the Coyotes (Team 1)

First period was not on our side. The Coyotes came out hot and on fire leaving the period at 3-0. Goals were scored at 4:56, 3:14 and 1:15.

Second period the boys knew they had to do something if they wanted to get something on the scoreboard and they did just that. First goal was scored at 8:22 by number 7 (Spencer Krajewski) assisted by number 6 (Lucas Folkema). After a small celebration the boys knew they had more work to do and got right to it with the second goal at 4:37 scored by number 18 (Owen Deal) unassisted. That goal ended the period at 3-2 still one goal behind.

Third period the boys were looking for the win and working hard to get there. This period started off different from the hop in that it was a 15 minute period instead of the 10 the boys are used to. Burford came out and got the perfect shot they landed in the net at 9:25. After a lot of back and forth and Burford icing the puck we managed to get another on into the net. That shot was taken by number 5 (Parker Cook) and was unassisted. Burford wanted to show they were not giving up that easy and came back with another goal at 3:01. Shortly after that at 1:09 they found themselves in the box for 2 minutes for tripping. The Ingersoll boys took this to their advantage and took the final shot on net that went right in past the goalie at just 38.7 seconds left in the third. That shot again was taken by number 5 (Parker Cook) ands was unassisted. We were not finished just yet when number 17 (Alex Stevens) found himself in the box for our only penalty of the game at only 19.7 seconds left. That penalty was for body contact.

First and second period were played by number 33 - Justin Clarke
Third period was played by number 1 - Graeme Arthur

The boys played a hard game the opposing teams defence was just to much for us to handle this time. A lot of good quality shots were taken by both teams and both of our goalies made some awesome saves. The team is getting better and better in their plays and passing with every game.

CAN WE JUST TAKE A MINUTE TO ACKNOWLEDGE NUMBER 5 PARKER COOK. THIS IS HIS 5th GAME LANDING 2 SHOTS IN THE NET - looking for that hattrick! Keep working hard the first hat trick for the team and of the season is right around the corner.

Highlighted player of the game is
- Brayden Ackworth

Number 10

Position: Forward.
