Express vs Mooretown

Today PLL1 (Sponsered by Vision Property Management) headed to Strathroy to complete our final game of the tournament against the Mooretown team.
 
First period was a lot of back and forth with the first being scored with just 1:54 left in the first period. That goal was scored by the Mooretown team.
 
Shots Ingersoll goalie seen were 5 while the Mooretown team took 8 on their net.
 
Second period came with a lot of action from Ingersoll. First goal was scored at 5:42 by number 18 (Owen Deal) after bouncing off the opposing players helmet, it was assisted by number 16 (Owen Nigh). With just 55.6 seconds left in the period number 5 (Parker Cook) took an unassisted shot that landed in the net for the second goal of the game. Leaving the end of the period 2-1 Ingersoll. 
 
Shots Ingersoll goalie seen were 4 while the Mooretown team took 11 on their net.
 
Third period brought a lot of back and forth play and a lot of good chances for both sides. At 8:26 number 16 (Owen Nigh) found himself in the box for a head contact penalty, but our boys spent most of Mooretown's powerplay in Mooretown's end. We ended the game with 2 more goals number 9 (Brandt Kloepfer) had an unassisted goal on an open net at 38.7 seconds and number 18 (Owen Deal seen his second goal of the game on a breakaway at just 19.4 seconds left. 

First and Second period were played by number 1 - Graeme Arthur
Third period was played by number 33 - Justin Clarke
 
Shots Ingersoll goalie seen were 12 while the Mooretown team took 13 on their net.
The Ingersoll boys made a remarkable 32 shots on the Mooretown net and managed to make most of them count and had the defending goalie and team working hard. What a well played game by all players.
