Ingersoll's Atom LL #1 Tirecraft Team's first game was a great one!
1st Period-
Within the first minute, #9 Kyle V. scored the first goal
of the season! Both #11 Mason W. and #17 Kingsley S.B. took a shot on Simcoe’s
net. Simcoe took five shots on our net- good work defense. #9 Kyle V. scored a
second goal with an assist by #2 Jared M. before the first period ended.
2nd Period- #1 Goalie Logan W. made some good saves during the second period as Simcoe took six shots on our net. Simcoe had their first goal. Both #17 Kingsley S.B. and #18 Cameron F. attempted goals.
3rd Period- The third period started with a shot by Simcoe but was caught midair by #1 Goalie Logan W! #9 Kyle V. attempted a goal on Simcoe, followed by #17 Kingsley S.B. making another attempt. #18 Cameron got a goal! Simcoe took a shot on our net and then #16 Aidan P. scored a goal! Two back to back shots by Simcoe and one from Ingersoll. Simcoe scored their second goal with an assist. In the last minute of the last period, #17 Kingsley S.B. assisted by #11 Mason W. scored our fifth goal! Winning the game by 5-2.
