Tirecraft vs. Norwich Knighthawks 1
Saturday January 12th Tirecraft faced the Norwich Knighthawks 1 in an exciting back and forth game between these two evenly matched teams.
Tirecraft's #2 Brayden Ackworth scored the first goal at 6:49 in the first period, assisted by #3 Benjamin Timleck. Tirecraft's golaie #1 Jackson Callow solidly defended his net ending the first period 1-0.
Norwich scored their first goal of the game at 8:00 in the second period to tie up the game. Although not for long as a minute and 10 seconds later Tirecraft's #4 Ashton Feurenstein's shot found the back of the net with assists going to #2 Brayden Ackworth and #7 Gunnar Doyon ending the second period 2-1 for Tirecraft.
Opening the scoring in the third period was Tirecrafts #2 Brayden Ackworth, assisted by #3 Benjamin Timleck and #5 Cameron Feurenstein at 2:38.
It was an exciting third period for both teams! Norwich squeaked 2 last minute goals in to end the game in a 3-3 tie.
