Tirecraft vs. Norwich Knighthawks 2
What a game for Tirecraft! This was the best overall game and team effort played yet!
Tirecraft and Norwich proved to be a couple of evenly matched teams. What an exciting back and forth game for all the fans to watch and cheer.
After a scoreless first period, #17 Josh Bere opened the scoring in the second period for Tirecraft with the assist going to #3 Benjamin Timleck. Norwich came back to tie the game before the end of the second period.
Despite having a shorter bench than normal, Tirecraft played just as hard throughout the third period as they had in the previous periods. Tirecrafts #2 Brayden Ackworth scored the only goal for Tirecraft in the third period. Brayden's goal was assisted by #10 Gregory West.
Norwich ended the game with the win and a final score of 3-2.
Congratulations goes to Tirecrafts #10 Gregory West on outstanding, solid game played. Gregory was +2 on the ice for this game as he was on the ice for both goals scored by Tirecraft and not on the ice for any of the goals against. Tirecrafts #16 Carter Burgess and #17 Josh Bere were both +1. What an excellent effort by all!!
It is amazing to watch this group of boys and their growth and improvements on the ice as a team.
A big shout out to Coach Eric and his dedicated coaching staff for all their efforts and ongoing encouragement to each and every player of this Tirecraft team.
